Today I am going to do a review of a few products from Juicy Chemistry.

Nowadays, everyone is awakening to the thought of healthy living. More and more brands come up with what they claim to be eco-friendly products. But, are they all eco friendly as they claim to be? If you read the labels, you would find yet again elements which are neither healthy nor skin friendly. Juicy Chemistry is an Indian start-up, which crafts skin products out of natural ingredients, sans preservatives and chemicals. They have been in business since 2014 and now have marked their presence all over India and 16 countries abroad. They make their products with raw ingredients sourced from various places all over the world. 

I got the following products from them: Argan and Rose day serum, cell construction serum, skin rehab body butter. Here are the reviews of each of them:

Argan and Rose day serum

The perfect serum for those who get out in the sun all day, because it contains Red Raspberry seed oil and Carrot seed oil which contain natural SPF. It also contains Argan essential oil which contains natural sources of Vitamin E and has been known for years for its moisturising properties, giving the skin a boost. Rose oil, another major ingredient in the serum, has astringent properties which soothes the skin and heals marks. The bonus, it smells great and gives the skin a beautiful glow as soon as it is applied.

Cell Construction serum

This is packed with ingredients like Carrot seed essential oil, Helichrysum essential oil, Neroli and Rosehip essential oils. These work as great moisturisers and aid in reversing cell damage. I got this for my mother, who had been having dark patches on her cheeks and dark under eye circles. In 3 days, the results were visible. Her skin was becoming lighter, and the marks were fading away and the skin underneath her eyes was also brighter. It is to be used as a night serum because, unlike the day serum, it is a little greasy.

Skin Rehab body butter

This body butter is power packed with ingredients that work wonders on the skin. It contains Neroli, Mango butter, and Rosehip, which are essential in repairing cell damage. It also contains Cocoa Butter and Jojoba oil which are known for their skin conditioning properties. Coconut oil, Olive oil, and Vitamin E aid in protecting the skin cells and providing the much needed glow. This just melts into the skin, and I could feel the difference in my skin within a week. Plus, this comes with a cute wooden spoon that helps prevent contamination of the product from bare hands.

Since these products are all handmade, without any preservatives, their shelf life is very less, upto 6 months. It would be better to buy small packs and then get fresh batches once you use these up!
